Students at the Kpando Senior High School in the Volta Region came under another wave of attack<\/a><\/span> from a group of students from the\u00a0Kpando Technical Institute last night.<\/p>\n

A similar incident occurred over the weekend when they vandalized the school\u2019s property including a van.<\/p>\n

Some of the female students of Kpando Secondary School were rushed to the Margarete Marquart Hospital following the attacks.<\/p>\n

[contextly_sidebar id=”JhScoJBDfmmErY7NUhsrZRPwlpEyqrjM”]Speaking to Citi News<\/strong>, the Senior House Master of Kpansec, Simon Aligidi, said the timely intervention of a police patrol team helped salvage the situation.<\/p>\n

He said they suffered the attacks during evening studies.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have the number of the people who attacked us\u2026We gathered the girls in our dining hall\u2026so we sent those who suffered the attack to the hospital. The police patrol team was deployed to the school so the situation was put under control. The Police personnel are still on campus,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The first misunderstanding between the two rival schools who are only separated by a major road, started after Kpando Secondary School prevented students from the Kpando Technical Institute from participating in a jam they organised in the town.<\/p>\n

Kpantec\u00a0students vandalize school property<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last week, some students of the all-boys Kpando Technical Institute attacked and vandalized some school assets\u00a0of the\u00a0Kpando Senior High School.<\/p>\n
