Some industry analysts believe the network expansion and strong growth in data consumption will help pull more subscribers despite stiff competition from the like s of MTN, Airtel, Tigo and Glo.<\/p>\n<p>Vodafone Ghana, which began operations in the year 2009 after acquiring the majority stake in Ghana Telecom, serves 1.6 million subscribers as at the end of December 2013.
