{"id":210908,"date":"2016-05-02T15:19:55","date_gmt":"2016-05-02T15:19:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=210908"},"modified":"2016-05-02T15:19:55","modified_gmt":"2016-05-02T15:19:55","slug":"police-boss-leads-prayer-for-peaceful-polls-at-family-consecration-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/05\/police-boss-leads-prayer-for-peaceful-polls-at-family-consecration-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"Police boss leads prayer for peaceful polls at Family Consecration [Photos]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, COP George Akuffu Dampare, on Monday May 2, led thousands to pray for peace in the upcoming November polls at Citi FM&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Family Consecration Service<\/strong> held at Winners\u2019 Chapel in Accra.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-210930\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/20160502060245-1.jpg\" alt=\"20160502060245 (1)\" width=\"599\" height=\"399\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The service was officiated by a team of pastors led by <strong>Citi FM<\/strong>\u2019s resident pastor, Reverend Dr. Stephen Yenusom Wengam.<\/p>\n<p>COP Dampare, one of the many participants, also took time lead a prayer session to commit the security of the nation into the hands of God.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-210885\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/consegra-4.jpg\" alt=\"consegra 4\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Addressing the congregation, the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander assured Ghanaians there would be peace before, during and after the elections whilst urging Christians to remain upright in the sight of God.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-210848\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/IMG-20160502-WA0015-2-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"IMG-20160502-WA0015\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cGhana our beloved country will be more peaceful than we find it today after the elections so relax.
