<\/p>\nFamily of the late Vice President Aliu Mahama has supported the Nyohini Children\u2019s Home in Tamale with items worth thousands of cedis.<\/p>\n
The items included 10 bags of rice, assorted drinks, detergents, toiletries and some confectionary.<\/p>\n
The family also gave GHC300.00 to Kofi Yeboah, one of the oldest orphans to further his education.
\nThe family in addition organized a get together for the children at the forecourt of the Orphanage.<\/p>\n
Son of the late Vice President, Farouk Mahama made the donation as part of his 35th birth day celebration.<\/p>\n

He explained that the gesture was meant to resurrect his late father\u2019s campaign against indiscipline in society.<\/p>\n
Farouk Mahama admonished the youth to be disciplined in order to become responsible citizens.<\/p>\n
Farouk Mahama promised to continually support the children who are confronted with myriad challenges at the Orphanage.<\/p>\n
Director of the Nyohini Children\u2019s Home, Mrs. Augustine Quainoe thanked Farouk Mahama for rekindling his late father\u2019s humanitarian services.<\/p>\n
She said the late Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama in life immeasurably contributed towards the upkeep of the children.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Augustine Quainoe appealed to benevolent organizations and Philanthropists to assist the Orphanage pay utility bills.<\/p>\n
She also complained about encroachment on the Orphanage\u2019s land called for enough resources to complete the fence.<\/p>\n
Donation to Hajia Mariam\u2019s Arabic School<\/strong> He praised the Proprietor, Hajia Mariam Alolo for her forethought and pledged his commitment to modify their structures.<\/p>\n Farouk Mahama urged Hajia Mariam Alolo to continue to inspire Muslim women to occupy their rightful positions in society.<\/p>\n Hajia Ayi on behalf of the management of the Islamic Centre commended Farouk Mahama for his generosity.
