The new L.I empowers the NMC\u00a0to grant content authorization to an electronic operator or revoke same if it goes contrary to the L.I.<\/p>\n
The Content Standards Regulation 2015 also entreats all radio and television stations \u00a0to seek content authorization from the NMC before airing a particular programme\u00a0or in default pay a fine or serve between two and five years in jail.<\/p>\n
