{"id":207473,"date":"2016-04-17T18:08:56","date_gmt":"2016-04-17T18:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=207473"},"modified":"2016-04-17T18:08:56","modified_gmt":"2016-04-17T18:08:56","slug":"woman-arrested-for-dumping-ex-lovers-baby-into-toilet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/04\/woman-arrested-for-dumping-ex-lovers-baby-into-toilet\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman arrested for dumping ex-lover&#8217;s baby into toilet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Bole District Police Command in the Northern Region, has arrested a woman suspected to have\u00a0killed a\u00a0two-week old baby \u00a0of her former boyfriend by throwing it (the baby) into a public toilet.<\/p>\n<p>The Bole District Police Commander, ASP Eric Awiadem, told <strong>Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0the mother of the deceased baby, left him\u00a0in the care of some children but could not locate him when she returned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe complainant, who is the mother of the deceased, left the baby boy in the care of other children in her room. When she returned, the baby was nowhere to be found. A search was conducted and we found the baby in the pit of a public toilet,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>ASP Awiadem added that the suspect, Mariama Bashiru, is alleged\u00a0to have committed the crime because she had continuously confronted the father of the baby, who happens to be her former boyfriend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey suspected her former rival that she might have done that because she had been coming to the house to confront her former boyfriend on certain issues. She has been picked up and is in our custody.
