Even before a skirmish between rapper Criss Waddle and Shatta Wale escalates, the self-acclaimed King of Ghana dancehall usually known for his no-nonsense approach, has urged fans of his Shatta Movement to exercise restraint after Waddle criticized him for alleged piracy among others.

Waddle, formerly of the R2Bees Entertainment record label, launched a scathing verbal attack on Shatta Wale via his Facebook page on Wednesday, in a video, in which he described Shatta as an ingrate for turning his back on some of the pioneers of Shatta Movement.

“You are a serious sell-out, Shatta Wale, your fans don’t realize it yet but it it is only a matter of time… You have sold out all the pioneers of Shatta Movement Family label. That is not the life of a gangster; a gangster stays real all the time,” Waddle said in his video on facebook.

Waddle also alleged that ‘Bie Gya’, Shatta Wale’s latest record featuring Stonebwoy was a rip off from his own work whilst hurling insults at Shatta Wale’s fans, calling them fools.

Shatta is known for having some of the most loyal fans in showbiz circles and some have already rushed to the defense of the Shatta Movement King. But Shatta Wale himself is playing the peace maker this time around, and has charged his fans to not react to Waddle’s vitriolic comments.

But even before Shatta Wale’s caution, some of his fans went on rampage hurling insults at Waddle.
