A man believed to be in his thirties has been arrested for allegedly beating his twenty eight year old wife to death in Hohoe in the Volta region.<\/p>\n
Narrating the incident, the Hohoe Municpal Crime Officer, ASP Edward Ghartey said the man subjected his wife to severe beating till she was \u00a0admitted at the hospital.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe turned his wife into a punching bag in the morning. After his wife had received a sound beating, she went to sleep and his husband also went to town. While in town, a neighbor chanced on the woman suffering in bed, so she rushed her to the Hohoe Municipal Assembly hospital,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
He noted that the man upon arriving at the hospital after he was asked to go for his wife\u2019s National Health Insurance card, received the news about the death of his wife.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow he\u2019s sorry about what happened, but can the woman come<\/span> back?
