{"id":205610,"date":"2016-04-10T10:50:24","date_gmt":"2016-04-10T10:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=205610"},"modified":"2016-04-10T10:50:24","modified_gmt":"2016-04-10T10:50:24","slug":"ndk-financial-services-celebrates-25-years-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/04\/ndk-financial-services-celebrates-25-years-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"NDK Financial Services celebrates 25 years (photos)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of Ghana\u2019s most experienced companies in the Finance House category of the Non-Banking Financial Services industry, NDK Financial Services Limited has celebrated 25 years of operations.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-205612\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/oko-alone.jpg\" alt=\"oko alone\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As part of the celebrations, the company invited customers and board members to its Omanye Aba Head Office in Accra\u00a0 to outline the vision and mission of\u00a0 the company.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the ceremony, the CEO of the company,Oko Nikoi\u00a0Dzani\u00a0recounted that the company began operations prior to the enactment of the Non-Banking Law, PNDC law 328 passed in 1993.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the company has played a leading role in spearheading discussions and providing invaluable input for many of the laws and regulations that\u00a0 govern the industry.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-205613\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/oko-2.jpg\" alt=\"oko 2\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNDK continues to assist the Bank of Ghana in improving the non-banking law and regulations under which all non-bank institutions operate\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Giving a brief history of the company, he recalled that the company started from a small office in the Kingsway building in Accra where its first clients were primarily traders and business men importing goods for sale.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-205614\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/oko-6.jpg\" alt=\"oko 6\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe business grew and over the course of a few years, the company became known as the alternative to banks\u201d, he said adding that \u201cin 1997 , NDK Financial services has grown in reputation \u00a0and clients that it relocated into its own building in Osu\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the company initiated major changes to position it to meet the dynamic nature the industry was assuming by 2007.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-205617\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/oko-3.jpg\" alt=\"oko 3\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Announcing the stated capital of the company as hitting 500 million cedis, Mr. Dzani\u00a0stated that NDK has a current staff of 90 personnel, two branches, and an ultra-modern head office.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-205615\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/oko-1.jpg\" alt=\"oko 1\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He disclosed that the company has impacted many Ghanaian companies and societies, by providing credit for infrastructure development.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-205616\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/oko-7.jpg\" alt=\"oko 7\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have provided credit for cocoa farmers, Municipal Assemblies, and private companies to develop the country\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n<p>He assured that the company will remain in the non-banking financial institution to serve its clients.<\/p>\n<p>By: Lawrence Segbefia\/citibusinessnews.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of Ghana\u2019s most experienced companies in the Finance House category of the Non-Banking Financial Services industry, NDK Financial Services Limited has celebrated 25 years of operations.
