Voting is underway in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primary in the Ablekuma west constituency to elect a parliamentary candidate for the 2016 elections.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
About 1200 delegates are expected to vote at the Dansoman Police station which is serving as the polling centre.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The primary has been\u00a0delayed for nearly nine months following disagreements over the constituency\u2019s voters\u2019 register.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The incumbent Member of Parliament for the area and one of the contestants, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful\u00a0is presently observing proceedings at the police station\u00a0along with her opponent, Roni Nicole.<\/p>\n
