Last night, patrons who trooped to the Legon Amphitheatre to see the Heritage Theatre Series sat through the rain to enjoy production.

About fifteen minutes to the end of the production, it started raining and because the venue is not enclosed it meant people had to leave or suffer the downpour.

Initially, some patrons made moves to leave the venue while most decided to stay and enjoy the every moment of the captivating production in the rain.

Those who had left their seats to take cover rushed back to the amphitheatre to enjoy the rest of the production.

The cast and crew were given a standing ovation by the audience, which included the Israeli ambassador to Ghana and his family, the legendary Kwaku Sintim Misa and the Director General of the National Development Planning Commission of Ghana, Dr. Nii Moi Thompson.

It was a big night of music, dance and effervescent display of a panoply Ghanaian culture and historical realities. The three-nights of #WogbejekeReturns continues tonight at the Legon Amphitheatre behind the Commonwealth Hall.
