<\/p>\nThe New Patriotic Party\u2019s Parliamentary candidate for the Talensi Constituency, Thomas Duanab Wuni has impressed on Ghanaians to vote massively for his party in the upcoming general elections.<\/p>\n
According to him Ghanaians should not be persuaded by the distribution of goodies by the governing National Democratic Congress but vote for the NPP which has pragmatic solutions to salvage Ghanaians from further suffering they are experiencing under the Mahama government.<\/p>\n
Mr. Duanab said this during the inauguration of the NPP\u2019s Talensi constituency campaign team in Tongo.<\/p>\n

He stated that Ghanaians will not be short changed by the distribution of goodies the NDC government will use to lure voters to retain them into office, considering the unprecedented hardship the government have plunged the nation into.<\/p>\n
“We know we are going into a difficult election, it is ideas and plans against physical cash and the NDC have the cash. The level of corruption in the country tells you that, people are hauling cash to come and continue to perpetrate corruption.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo it is going to be corruption and distribution of goodies by the NDC against pragmatic and sensible proposals and plans by the NPP to move Ghana forward and we will continue to impress upon Ghanaians to\u00a0 vote the NPP for change because the NDC government have disappointed Ghanaians,” Duanab added.<\/p>\n

I will work hard<\/strong><\/p>\n Mr. Duanab said he is committed to working hard with the support of the campaign team as well as the youth of the area to canvass votes to enable him win the November polls and also secure an unprecedented victory for the party\u2019s flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.<\/p>\n For his part, the Talensi constituency youth organizer, Maxwel Chelimbalem said the campaign team and the youth working committees have a herculean task to move from house-to-house, to schools, to villages, market places and to the grass root to appeal to the people to give the NPP a chance to restore hope and prosperity to Ghanaians.<\/p>\n He added that, there is an urgent need to change the NDC government because the suffering of the youth equally affects their parents and pleaded with Ghanaians to help secure a resounding victory for his party.<\/p>\n The Upper East Regional youth organizer, Ibrahim Bashiru also charged members on the various working committees to work in accordance with the rules of engagement and cautioned that those who flout such regulations will be suspended from the team.<\/p>\n Mr. Duanab lost to NDC’s\u00a0B.T Baba in the by-election held in the area in 2015 following the resignation of the MP for the area,\u00a0Robert Nachinab Doameng.<\/p>\n –<\/p>\n By: Frederick Awuni\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The New Patriotic Party\u2019s Parliamentary candidate for the Talensi Constituency, Thomas Duanab Wuni has impressed on Ghanaians to vote massively for his party in the upcoming general elections.
