Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs have stated their intentions of staying in the league come the end of the season after their 1-0 win over Bechem United on Wednesday in the First Capital Plus Premier League in Cape Coast.<\/p>\n
The result gave Dwarfs 33 points but they lie 15th on the log with two games left.<\/p>\n
However, they are still confident of beating the drop at the end of the current campaign.<\/p>\n
” The win was encouraging for us today because with two matches left, results could go our way.<\/p>\n
Today, we won and those around us lost so we see it at a very good opportunity for us to capitalise on the present developments and get out of the difficult situation”, said the club’s Public Relations Officer, Adjetey Djanie in an interview with Citi Sports on Wednesday after the match.<\/p>\n
Dwarfs travel to Hasaacas on Match Day 29 and will end the season at home to Inter Allies and Djanie said the team was very ready to take the maximum number of points available from the rest of their matches.<\/p>\n
