2012 Flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, has endorsed moves by Eva Lokko to contest the parliamentary seat in the Klottey Korle Constituency on the ticket of the PPP.

[contextly_sidebar id=”t4j5TQXnL4dw4FaaKmGBsszfFR6WjQkM”]In an interview with Citi News, Dr. Nduom said Eva Lokko is better placed to represent the people of Klottey Korle in parliament.

“We need some of our best people in parliament and Eva Lokko is one of the best that we have in this country; as a professional who has worked with an international organization, as someone who rose to become director general of GBC, and as someone who is working to employ and help the youth to develop,” he said.

According to Dr. Nduom, some persons have risen to become leaders in the country without any experience, a situation that is affecting the country.

“In Ghana, anybody can get up and say they want to be president, we don’t know where they come from. It has hurt this country. We have asked the people in PPP to stay on the ground and be grounded.”

Eva Lokko was Papa Kwesi Nduom’s running mate in the 2012 general elections and will contest in the parliamentary elections on November 7 on the ticket of the PPP.
