Policy think tank, IMANI Ghana, has dissociated itself from a supposed report from a survey circulating on social media which ranked Ghana’s presidents since independence.

A statement from IMANI Ghana signed by its President, Franklin Cudjoe, said it should not be linked to the report since they are “not responsible for the said ranking and any other surveys/studies in connection with this poll.”

A report being circulated on social media on good governance among heads of governments in Ghana since independence, ranked the various presidents as follows: Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, John Dramani Mahama, J.J. Rawlings, John A. Kufuor, Dr. Hilla Limann, John Evans Atta Mills, E. Akuffo- Addo in order of their performance in good governance – from the highest to the lowest.

IMANI Ghana described the report linked to them as a “disappointing intellectual exercise on our credibility and integrity as a globally respected think tank.”

Below is the full statement:

Supposed “Imani Ghana ranking of good governance in Ghana heads of government since independence”
