<\/p>\nUK based Ghanaian gospel musician, Sonnie Badu’s decision to support converted\u00a0Hiplife artiste, Yaw Siki, has fallen flat after the young preacher\u00a0turned down his brotherly offer.<\/p>\n
A clearly unhappy Sonnie Badu in responding to Yaw Siki’s decision to snub his act of charity, stated he has closed the chapter on the former hiplife artiste.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”jHLKc0Re19STF5Cm64cXT6PYYud820By”]Siki, politely turned down the offer made by Badu, to assist him and his ministry financially, explaining that his\u00a0decision was simply because Badu\u00a0chose to make his act of charity public rather than contact him privately.<\/p>\n
Quoting scriptures to support his decision, Yaw Siki told Graphic Showbiz in an interview that, it was dishonorable for people to make their good deeds known to others just for human praise.<\/p>\n
Now an Evangelist, Yaw Siki makes a living from offertory he receives after preaching in commercial buses and other places in the Tema Metropolis, as well as support from his family.<\/p>\n
The young rapper gave his life to Christ after he escaped a near fatal accident on the Tema Motorway in 2013, a divine escape he attributes to the work of God who gave him a second chance to live and to use him as an instrument of His salvation.<\/p>\n
Yaw Siki\u2019s touching story of a budding hiplife musician, which took a sudden turn after he survived a near-fatal\u00a0accident in 2013, touched the heart of Badu decided to support him.<\/p>\n
Sonnie Badu made the announcement on his Instagram page but almost a month later, he took to Instagram again to respond Siki\u2019s rejection.<\/p>\n

According to Badu, friction started building up only when his PR team tried to get to know Siki better.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am actually getting a bit worked out by this. The truth of the matter is that, the young man started getting offended when my PR started asking him questions to get to know him. Like who his spiritual father is, would he like to go to any Bible school? What church does he belong to, now these are standard questions we normally ask because we believe that even though you have a calling you have to be directed,\u201d Badu\u2019s stated via Instagram.<\/p>\n
Badu says he\u00a0has closed the chapter on Siki and will now focus on his other charity efforts.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow I officially close this chapter and focus on more orphans and widows as we have been doing already.\u201d<\/p>\n
