Government has presented keys to a two-bedroom house to the taxi driver who foiled a robbery attack on an employee of the Koala Shopping Centre in Accra.<\/p>\n

The two suspected robbers,\u00a0Obaleko Stanley, 35 and Oko Quarcoo, 30, attacked and shot a lady in her leg near the American Embassy at East Cantonments and tried to escape with her belongings.<\/p>\n

The taxi driver, who was a witness to the robbery incident, however pursued the two robbers, who were escaping on a motor bike and\u00a0crashed into their motorbike with his car, injuring the robbers who were later arrested.<\/p>\n

He was subsequently promised a house by the President and two saloon cars by the Police administration and management of Koala, after his car was damaged beyond repairs.<\/p>\n

He has already received the vehicle<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>Koala promised him as well as that from the police.<\/p>\n

Presenting the keys to the house to the taxi driver, the Minister of Water Resources Works and Housing Dr. Kwaku Agyeman Mensah said : “Maintenance of law and order is not the exclusive preserve of the Police. As good citizens, all of us must be involved in maintaining law and order. The nation is very grateful to this gentleman. This should encourage all Ghanaians in maintaining law and order.”<\/p>\n
