{"id":194057,"date":"2016-02-28T16:53:12","date_gmt":"2016-02-28T16:53:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=194057"},"modified":"2016-02-28T16:53:12","modified_gmt":"2016-02-28T16:53:12","slug":"indian-man-kills-14-members-of-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/02\/indian-man-kills-14-members-of-family\/","title":{"rendered":"Indian man &#8216;kills 14 members of family&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 35-year-old Indian man killed 14 members of his own family, including seven children and his parents, before killing himself, police say.<\/p>\n<p>Reports suggest Hasnin Warekar laced his family&#8217;s food with sedatives before slitting their throats.<\/p>\n<p>Neighbours from the home in Thane, near Mumbai, were alerted to the attack by the screaming of the man&#8217;s sister, who survived the attack.<\/p>\n<p>Police say it is still unclear why Warekar carried out the attack.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities are yet to question Warekar&#8217;s sister, Thane police spokesman Gajanan Laxman Kabdule told AFP, as she was &#8220;in deep trauma&#8221; at a city hospital.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He used a big knife. He killed his parents, his sisters and his sisters&#8217; children.
