The annual Citi FM Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) Festival<\/strong> returns in the month of March with a series of exciting events to promote authentic Ghanaian music.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s MOGO Festival will run alongside the Musician Union of Ghana\u2019s (MUSIGA) annual Ghana Music Week Festival.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”4FIhe83xVesldaC8xTIZBPOFSKqAJF9J”] This partnership with MUSIGA ensures that the festival is expanded to cover every aspect of the Ghanaian Music industry with an aim to promote and preserve the heritage.<\/p>\n MUSIGA has lined up some very exciting events for the Ghana Music Week.<\/p>\n Events for this year\u2019s MOGO Festival begin on Monday February 29 and climaxes on Saturday March 5.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s event has been scheduled for the first week of March to give revelers an opportunity to sample and enjoy Ghana\u2019s unique music heritage too as Ghana prepares for her 59th<\/sup> Independence Day celebrations.<\/p>\n
