About 61 people were killed on Wednesday when a Metro Mass Transit (MMT) bus traveling from Tamale to Kumasi crashed into a truck fully loaded with tomatoes.<\/p>\n

The accident happened on the road near the Kintampo waterfall.<\/p>\n

The Brong Ahafo Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Christopher Tawiah told Citi News<\/strong> that the incident occurred because the MMT bus was overtaking another vehicle on a sharp curve and ended up colliding with the truck.<\/p>\n
