{"id":190959,"date":"2016-02-18T09:07:00","date_gmt":"2016-02-18T09:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=190959"},"modified":"2016-02-18T09:07:00","modified_gmt":"2016-02-18T09:07:00","slug":"nana-addo-prays-for-kintampo-tamale-accident-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/02\/nana-addo-prays-for-kintampo-tamale-accident-victims\/","title":{"rendered":"Nana Addo prays for Kintampo-Tamale accident victims"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, is praying for the speedy recovery of victims in the deadly Wednesday night accident on the Kintampo-Tamale road.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over 50\u00a0persons lost their lives while scores were injured in the crash\u00a0involving a Metro Mass Transit bus and a truck carrying tomatoes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a series of tweet on Thursday morning, Nana Addo consoled the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-190961 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/nana-addo-tweet-on-accident.png\" alt=\"nana addo tweet on accident\" width=\"593\" height=\"308\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He tweeted: My condolences to the families who lost loved ones in yesterday&#8217;s gruesome accident on the Kintampo-Tamale highway.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;I pray for a speedy recovery for the injured,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reports say the Kumasi bound Metro Mass Transit (MMT) bus collided head on with the truck believed to be traveling from Navrongo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eyewitnesses say the engine of the MMT fell off from the bus due to\u00a0the impact of the accident and trapped passengers underneath the bus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President John Dramani Mahama hours after the incident expressed <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2016\/02\/18\/kintampo-accident-sad-mahama-consoles-bereaved-families\/\" target=\"_blank\">grave concern<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in a tweet.\u00a0The President consoled the families of the departed souls\u00a0in a series of tweets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Godwin A.
