{"id":19085,"date":"2014-05-16T15:48:18","date_gmt":"2014-05-16T15:48:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=19085"},"modified":"2014-05-16T15:48:18","modified_gmt":"2014-05-16T15:48:18","slug":"medeama-concentration-will-be-high-for-lions-tie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/05\/medeama-concentration-will-be-high-for-lions-tie\/","title":{"rendered":"Medeama: Concentration will be high for Lions tie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Players of Medeama Sporting Club have been asked to stay alert during their First Capital Plus Premier League match against Kpando Heart of Lions on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The club completes its run of outstanding matches with a trip to 2nd-placed Lions and they face a prospect of climbing up to 4th position if they can score enough to overtake Hasaacas&#8217; goal difference of 6.<\/p>\n<p>Medeama&#8217;s Public Relation Officer, Tony Nkrumah-Boateng, told Citi Sports in an interview on Friday that the players must break their recent cycle of not focusing enough in matches.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; We realised that our major challenge has been a lack of concentration in our recent matches. We saw it against AshGold in Obuasi and \u00a0it became worse against Feyenoord in Fetteh in the MTN FA Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, the players were better against Liberty Professionals on Wednesday and we hope to continue that way against Lions on Sunday.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Medeama has had a challenging season due to its participation in the CAF Confederations Cup and the exertions of the competition, according to some, might have been the causes of their losses in their first two outstanding league matches against AshGold and Aduana but Nkrumah-Boateng believes there are positives to be seen despite the slip-ups.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; Basically, I do not think we have had major problems this season. We have been dedicated to our tasks and we have shown seriousness in our matches.
