A Deputy General Secretary of the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, says the party cannot be blamed for the inclusion of its Deputy Director of International Relations, Dr. Karl Marx Arhin, on the National Elections Steering Committee for the November polls.

Speaking on Eyewitness News on Wednesday, Mr. Anyidoho said in remedying the situation, all they could do as a responsible party, was to insist on his withdrawal from the committee by writing to the National Service Secretariat.

[contextly_sidebar id=”AMsCPAfdzrymVwrJdf5U5H6Rv2PM2cTK”]“It’s a decision that was taken by the party and communicated to Dr. Kpessah Whyte not because he did anything wrong, or Dr. Arhin did anything wrong and not because Madam Charlotte Osei did anything wrong. The party was not asked to present a nominee and I know that no party was written to because for us the parties, our voices are heard under the IPAC. This is a committee that is supposed to have a neutral representation.”

Koku defends EC Chairperson?
