He bcame the first Ghanaian to have been nominated for the Grammys.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 47 year is known for his signature &#8220;Afro Roots&#8221; sound which is a mixture of Reggae, Afrobeat, Highlife and soul music.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Morgan Heritage won the Grammy for his band&#8217;s acclaimed album titled &#8220;Strictly Roots&#8221; and\u00a0Dawuni congratulated the winning Reggae band via twitter.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Thank you all for the support and our nomination !
