MoneyGram<\/a> has announced the extension of their more than 17-year relationship with Walmart.<\/p>\n

This new three-year agreement,\u00a0which begins on Feb. 1 2016, continues MoneyGram\u2019s domestic and international money transfer service as well as its bill pay and money order products at Walmart\u2019s more than 4,000 locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

Walmart customers can also continue to access MoneyGram services through Walmart.com<\/a> to send and receive money.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are extremely pleased to extend our relationship with Walmart for an additional three years,\u201d said Alex Holmes, MoneyGram CEO.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor nearly two decades now, MoneyGram and Walmart have worked side by side to make money transfers and other financial services affordable and convenient for our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLeveraging our size and scale to take on big challenges and create better ways to serve our customers is something we\u2019re always working on. MoneyGram is a great provider in helping us deliver results that matter to our customers, offering innovative products and services that help them better manage their finances for less,\u201d said Kirsty Ward, Walmart Senior Director, U.S. Financial Services.
\nWalmart and MoneyGram are committed to ongoing innovation in order to meet the evolving needs of the customer.<\/p>\n

Both companies will continue to make investments in marketing, technology and product development, including the roll-out of a redesigned online experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cMoneyGram is committed to fully understanding the expectations of our customers and agents and to enhancing their money transfer experience,\u201d said Holmes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a very dynamic industry and we are constantly looking to offer our customers new and better ways to send and receive money.\u201d<\/p>\n

Africans in the USA can continue sending money from all Walmart locations to their relatives in Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and other destinations.<\/p>\n
