There is water rationing in the Tamale Metropolis comparative to the acute water shortage which has hit some parts of the country.<\/p>\n

Residents of the Kukuo electoral area whose taps flowed once in a month now have access to pipe borne water twice in a week.<\/p>\n

Jakarayili residents have also been relieved by the water rationing arrangement.<\/p>\n

Peri-Urban communities including Changli, Kukuo, Jakarayili, Dohin-Naayili, Banvim, Koblimahigu, SSNIT flats, Fuo and Kalpohini were the hardest hit during the acute water shortage era.<\/p>\n

School children used to abandon the classroom for several weeks in search of water.<\/p>\n

The Tamale Teaching Hospital, hairdressers, car washing bay and chop bar operators also suffered from the acute water shortage.<\/p>\n

Much is desired of the services of the Ghana Water Company because Abdul Wahab Nambiri, Manager of Tete car washing bay told Citi News<\/strong> the rationing arrangement was affecting his business.<\/p>\n
