Yeboah, adjourned the case after the counsel for the defendants, the management of the hospital, filed an application seeking to strike out the names of the CEO, Dr. Gilbert Buckle\u00a0and the Chairperson of the Disciplinary Board, Mrs Perpetua Annan, from the writ of summons originally filed by the Senior Staff Association.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;P3nXg3KAtuMS0IFgyM5UPRRTjL5dAMR3&#8243;]On February 3, the Korle Bu Senior Staff Association sued the management of the hospital for initiating processes to sanction five of its members for accusing the management of corruption and mismanagement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The members of the association resorted to the Accra High Court to ask the court to among others, to declare the disciplinary procedures against them null and void.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In an interview with <strong>Citi News<\/strong>, Lawyer for the Senior Staff Association, Samuel Crabbe, revealed that the adjournment was to give them time to be served with the application from the lawyers of the Hospital&#8217;s Management.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cBasically, we are in court to move an application for interlocutory injunction, however the defendants actually applied to the court for an order to strike out the names of the CEO and the chairperson of the board,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lawyer Crabbe further noted that, the plaintiffs had not been served with the said motion yet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThey want two of their names to be struck out from the writ of summons for stated reasons; however the said motion was filed only this and morning and we the plaintiffs, we have not been served with the said motion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By Delali Adogla-Bessa\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Accra Human Rights Court Two\u00a0has adjourned the case between the Management of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the facility&#8217;s Senior Staff Association to March 3, 2016.
