{"id":189200,"date":"2016-02-12T11:23:06","date_gmt":"2016-02-12T11:23:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=189200"},"modified":"2016-02-12T11:23:06","modified_gmt":"2016-02-12T11:23:06","slug":"189200","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/02\/189200\/","title":{"rendered":"Royal Air Maroc introduces new flights within Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Royal Air Maroc is set to introduce a new Intra-Africa air service this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The service, which will commence on the 15th of March, will fly three times a week from Accra to Freetown via Monrovia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Royal Air Maroc is a Moroccan airline with a dual passenger and freight transport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was founded in June 1957 and serves nearly 90 destinations worldwide including 33 African countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;tM0LGGoxCBZwVDnujzgPdIUcsFZ8bWZy&#8221;]The Royal Air Maroc has been in Ghana for since 2006.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking to <strong>Citi Business News<\/strong>, Head of Afrika Department for Royal Air Maroc, Ghan Mi Imad said the\u00a0new service is part of measures put in place to ensure the African Development Strategy plan and also to develop connectivity among countries across the globe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018\u2018We are opening this all new service between Accra, Monrovia and Freetown, starting from March 15<sup>th<\/sup>. This is a real breakthrough for our strategy because we are going into the new Intra African market for Royal Air Maroc,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Our ambition is to be the most competitive company airline on the first, and on the service quality. For the rest of the continent, we are opening new routes, we are offering more frequencies, more availability and more flights for people travelling from Africa to Casablanca, to Morocco and worldwide,&#8221;He stated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Mr. Imad, \u2018\u2018this new product offers all possible mobility combinations between the three capitals. The Flight will be operated by Boeing 737-700 with a capacity of 11four seats\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He urged all Ghanaians to try this new very affordable service.
