The body of 29 year old Walker Agortimevor which went missing after the helicopter crash at West Cape Three Points in the Western Region has been found.<\/p>\n
Walker\u2019s lifeless body was found at the Busia Beach Thursday \u00a0night. He was among four people who died on the spot but his body was not found after several rescue efforts.<\/p>\n
Deputy General Secretary of the General Transport, Petroleum and Chemical Workers Union of the TUC, Francis Sallah, confirmed the news to Citi FM.<\/p>\n
”The missing guy has been found. His body was washed ashore \u00a0and was found at the Busia beach,” he said.<\/p>\n
He went on to expressed how shocked the union still is over the disaster.<\/p>\n
Eight people, comprising two crew and six passengers, were on board the Ivorian registered helicopter when the accident occurred.<\/p>\n
They included five Ghanaians, a Nigerian, a British and a French national.<\/p>\n
Out of the eight, four survived, three died and one person was missing [Now found].<\/p>\n
Three people were confirmed dead after a helicopter carrying eight passengers belonging to LukOil crashed into the sea on 8th May, 2014.a<\/p>\n
Three of the passengers were rescued.<\/p>\n
The accident, according to officials of the GHANA Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), happened four nautical miles off the coast of Takoradi and about six kilometres from the Takoradi Airport.<\/p>\n
