The vetting of the first batch of the President\u2019s nominees for various substantive and deputy ministerial positions took off on Monday, February 9, with some interesting highlights.<\/p>\n

The Minister-designate for the Upper East Region, Albert Abongo, could not tell the ethnic makeup of the region he is being tasked to head,\u00a0after \u00a0he was\u00a0asked to give the specific number of ethnic groups in the area.<\/p>\n
