<\/p>\nThe 1986 and 1996 year groups of the Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA) have cut sod for a staff accommodation project to kick start the commemoration of the school\u2019s 140th\u00a0\u00a0speech and prize giving day.<\/p>\n
The $100,000 duplex staff residential accommodation which consists of two bedroom complete side-by-side apartments and a $30,000 hygiene facility for staff and visitors, is expected to be completed and handed over to the school at this year\u2019s speech and prize giving day in November.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0a tradition at\u00a0Mfantsipim School every speech and prize giving day, the 30-year alumni of 1986,\u00a0becomes the lead year group to coordinate and implement the speech day activities with their colleague\u00a0year mates of 66, 76, 96 and 2006 year groups.<\/p>\n
Mr. Ekow Bedu-Addo MOBA, 86 President and his executives, led by Dr. Amanful, President of MOBA 66, was joined by MOBA National President, Ebusuapanyin Capt. Paul Forjoe, to break the ground for the construction work to begin over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Addressing the gathering, the MOBA 86 President, Ekow Badu-Addo, said his year group has been supporting students yearly, but this time, they decided to do something for the teachers upon the request of the headmaster.<\/p>\n
The MOBA National President, Ebusuapanyin Capt. Paul Forjoe, promised that ten percent of all year group donations will\u00a0be directed\u00a0into the MOBA Endowment Fund in order to maintain the facilities.\u00a0![\"cdec93c9-1649-4d14-9741-fd77e7a465e7\"](\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/cdec93c9-1649-4d14-9741-fd77e7a465e7.jpg\")

The MOBA 1996 year group is organising a stage drama titled: WHERE TWO OR MORE WOMEN ARE GATHERED, written and directed by one of Ghana\u2019s finest Playwrights, Nii Commey.<\/p>\n
The President of the 1996 year group, Mr. Kwesi Enchill, called on neighbouring schools to join them at the national Theatre on March 6, 2016 for the two shows at 4pm and 8pm.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat we want to emphasize is the fact that, even though it\u2019s a fundraiser for MOBA, we are doing this in the spirit of building a strong bridge across all old school boys and girls countrywide, to have fun, enjoy undiluted live stage drama, good music from KODA, Addaquaye, both being among Ghana\u2019s best musicians, as well as Idiot Brown, a comedian, and then raise funds to champion a good cause\u201d\u00a0![\"79627ed4-5d89-4a43-8603-2bb9df76883f\"](\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/79627ed4-5d89-4a43-8603-2bb9df76883f.jpg\")

Mr. Enchill invited\u00a0all old boys and girls to come to the National Theatre on Independence Day and have fun, meet old friends, and spark up the old flames of friendship, and keep the flame of good fraternity aglow.<\/p>\n
