Eric Ohemeng, the third year GIMPA student whose girlfriend poured acid on him because he jilted her, has in an exclusive interview with Citi News<\/strong>, lauded her\u00a0arrest.<\/p>\n Ohemeng, who has been battling for his life in the last seven months, spoke to Citi News<\/strong> a day after the Esther Enyonam Pekyi who had been \u00a0escaping arrest since the horrendous act,\u00a0was picked up through the efforts of Citi FM.<\/p>\n She\u00a0was arrested by the Police on Saturday after painstaking investigations, with intelligence from Citi News<\/strong>.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”cXvYyQqFkci3K777vuH2SPLflhO1qDuN”]Speaking to Citi News<\/strong>,\u00a0Eric \u00a0Ohemeng said ‘it is unimaginable and unthinkable for anyone to think of hurting a human being with acid.\u201d<\/p>\n He explained that a brief misunderstanding between them led to the attack.<\/p>\n “We had a brief misunderstanding and I didn’t even expect it to go this far because we were cool thereafter so I\u2019m still wondering what went into her to do that,” he said.<\/p>\n He said\u00a0her arrest would be a lesson to the public to desist from using the chemical as a revenge tool on persons who may have offended them mostly in love relationships.<\/p>\n He added that his family is elated about her\u00a0arrest.<\/p>\n “Although her arrest may not bring me 100% health, I trust and believe that her arrest will indeed save more lives,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
