Ghana\u2019s most influential radio station, Citi FM, in collaboration with the World Bank, on Thursday\u00a0held a round-table discussion on the need to integrate various statutory identification cards.<\/p>\n

The programme, which was under the theme ”\u00a0National Identification: A Panacea for Ghana\u2019s social, economic and political development”gathered speakers including Prof. Ernest Dumor, Former National Identification\u00a0 Authority head, Bright Simons, Honorary Vice President of IMANI Ghana and President of mPedigree, with contributions from key related agencies.<\/p>\n

Other speakers for the event were Dorothy K. Gordon, Director-General, Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, Kwaku Sakyi Addo,\u00a0CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunication, Moses Baiden, CEO of Identity Management System (IMS) as well as representatives from the \u00a0Integrated Social Development Center (ISODEC).<\/p>\n
