{"id":183807,"date":"2016-01-22T09:40:06","date_gmt":"2016-01-22T09:40:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=183807"},"modified":"2016-01-22T09:40:06","modified_gmt":"2016-01-22T09:40:06","slug":"preach-peace-ahead-of-election-dr-siaw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/01\/preach-peace-ahead-of-election-dr-siaw\/","title":{"rendered":"Preach peace ahead of election \u2013 Dr. Siaw"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chairman of the JOSPONG group of Companies, Dr. Joseph Siaw wants leaders of political parties to be mindful of their campaign messages and be very decorous with their utterances ahead of the November election.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He made the comment in an interview with <strong>Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0after the opening, of a Weeklong Leadership Conference in Gomoa in the Central \u00a0region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-183816 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/jospong-conference-6.jpg\" alt=\"jospong conference (6)\" width=\"598\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">November&#8217;s Election has been described by many as a crucial one which will decide the turn of events in the country in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference, which is under the theme, &#8216;Creating an excellent service delivery culture, a service leader&#8217;s role,&#8217; brought together senior and managerial staff of the Jospong Group of Companies to deliberate on how to steer the affairs of the companies in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-183815 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/jospong-conference-5.jpg\" alt=\"jospong conference (5)\" width=\"598\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Various speakers including Dr. Mario Denton from South Africa, Bishop James Saah of the Action Chapel, Daniel Asiedu, Managing Director of Zenith Bank and Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyina, Chairman of the Pentecost Church addressed the gathering.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-183812 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/jospong-conference-2.jpg\" alt=\"jospong conference (2)\" width=\"598\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking after the opening of the conference, Dr. Siaw indicated that it is only through the message of peace that will minimize the tension that characterizes elections in the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-183821 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/jospong-conference-11.jpg\" alt=\"jospong conference (11)\" width=\"598\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He stated, \u201cthis is not the first time that we are having an election, but this one is a crucial one. We should take our utterances very serious and be mindful that they will not cause any public uproar or tension in the country.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-183820 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/jospong-conference-10.jpg\" alt=\"jospong conference (10)\" width=\"598\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;For this reason we should be preaching the message of peace. Any leader who will stand anywhere and on any platform should be decorous. They should not try to instigate and instruct their youth groups to ferment any trouble in the country.
