{"id":183348,"date":"2016-01-20T14:11:39","date_gmt":"2016-01-20T14:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=183348"},"modified":"2016-01-20T14:11:39","modified_gmt":"2016-01-20T14:11:39","slug":"183348","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2016\/01\/183348\/","title":{"rendered":"PD Events to hold maiden photography awards ceremony in Ghana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PD Events GH will hold the first photography awards ceremony in Ghana<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGH PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS\u201d is a unique competition to challenge the local photography community in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>The competition is meant to source and showcase outstanding and amazing photographs from amateurs, emerging and established photographers in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>The event will also celebrate their creativity, ambitions and promote Ghanaian photography at large.<\/p>\n<p>The awards are based on 14 categories to which the participants (photographers) are to submit their entries accordingly via the event\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>The submitted entries will be screened by a jury of five renowned Ghanaian professional photographers and photo critics after which four nominees will emerge per category.<\/p>\n<p>The categories include architecture, aerial, conceptual, fashion, events, macro, people\/lifestyle, special effects, portrait, night, tradition\/culture, nature\/wildlife, split second and wedding photography.<\/p>\n<p>A press conference will be held to announce the scheduled date for the event, open the website for entry submissions, outdoor the jury and to acknowledge all partners and potential sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>This award ceremony is tagged to be one of Ghana\u2019s most prominent black tie events.
