A group of ANC women in Tshwane have taken to protesting against the outcome of a party meeting in rather odd fashion; by baring their bottoms at their branch headquarters.

According to the Pretoria News, around 16 women stormed the Tshwane branch’s offices in protest against the outcome of a general meeting held at the Lebelo Primary School in Hammanskraal over the weekend.

The group claimed armed bouncers stopped them from participating in voting to elect a new branch committee, the daily reported.

A committee was elected after they had been forced to leave the venue, the women claimed. They said they were groped and slapped on the buttocks while being escorted out.

In October, the ANC Women’s League came under fire on social media for defending President Jacob Zuma in a planned march, also in Tshwane.

The ANCWL marched to the Union Buildings to “defend Zuma’s honour” after a painting by Ayanda Mabulu was made public in October last year. Entitled The Pornography of Power, it depicts a naked Zuma receiving oral sex.

“We are being fucked by parliamentarians, we are being molested,” Mabulu said at the time, in defence of his painting.

In 2008, ANC Youth League members bared their backsides at the conference in Bloemfontein where Julius Malema was elected league leader.

–

Source: News24

A group of ANC women in Tshwane have taken to protesting against the outcome of a party meeting in rather odd fashion; by baring their bottoms at their branch headquarters.
