Producers\u00a0of Awake mineral water have donated an amount of GHc20, 000 to the Cardiothoracic Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.<\/p>\n
According to the company they are striving to donate about GHc100, 000 annually to the centre to finance surgeries of patients with heart diseases who cannot pay for such services.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n Kasapreko Company limited, a renowned Ghanaian beverage-producing firm, launched Awake purified mineral water few months ago to focus on changing lives in the country.<\/p>\n According to the company, part of the amount made from the sale of the mineral water will be channeled to the cardiothoracic centre to help save more lives.<\/p>\n Speaking at a short donation ceremony, Group Chairman of Kasapreko, Dr. Kwabena Adjei said the company produced the Awake mineral water for two reasons; to refresh Ghanaians and save lives.<\/p>\n
