The team \u00a0searching for Walker Agortimevor, the only missing person in the helicopter crash will launch a second phase of search\u00a0on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Eight persons were involved in a helicopter crash that occurred over the sea at Cape Three Points in the Western Region.<\/p>\n
Three people survived, with one, 29-year-old \u00a0Walker Agortimevor still missing.<\/p>\n
Even though there have been efforts headed by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority(GCAA) to find Mr. Agortimevor, his\u00a0family has however expressed frustration with the slow pace of work to retrieve the body.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Citi News<\/b> the Director of Air Traffic of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Mr. Albert Taylor said all efforts are being put in place to find both the wreckage and the body.<\/p>\n
Mr. Taylor said the team will broaden its search area under the second phase.<\/p>\n
\u201cLuke Oil Company has contracted three experts from America and more equipments are expected today to broaden the search. \u201c<\/p>\n
He also stated that the GCAA will collaborate with the Ghana Navy among others to launch the second phase of the search.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere will be coordination between GNPC, Ghana Navy, Luke Oil, Ghana Air Force, Petroleum Commission and Civil Aviation …. to launch the second phase of the search for tomorrow that will involve a more sophisticated search into the oceans for the wreckage and also for the missing person,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
