By extension, the ministry fete 500 aged at the Tamale Jubilee Park and registered them under the NHIS.<\/p>\n
The sector Minister, Mrs. Oye Lithur supervised the two activities and said it was in line with government\u2019s pro-poor policy.<\/p>\n
She reiterated government\u2019s commitment to improve the livelihood of the destitute in society.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Oye Lithur hinted her ministry\u2019s forward march to replicate the interventions across the country.<\/p>\n
The Northern Regional Prisons Commander, Deputy Director of Prisons, Robert Abundant Awulugutu complained about overcrowding.<\/p>\n
He emphasized the need for decongestion alongside a major rehabilitation to improve the ambiance there.<\/p>\n
