World Vision Ghana has presented educational materials worth over thousands of Ghana cedis to the Saboba District Directorate of Education in the Northern Region to support children\u2019s education.<\/p>\n
They included Mathematics Book Three, Holt Algebra One Assessment Resource, course One\u00a0 Grade Six chapter Five transparency Books, Mathematics \u2013 Structure and Method course Two, Earth Science Internet investigation, success for English\u00a0 Language learners, world cultures and Geography, Tutu Desk,\u00a0 among others.<\/p>\n
Mr James Asedem, Operation Base Team Leader in-charge of Savelugu Operations of World Vision Ghana, who made the presentation at Saboba, said it was to supplement the efforts of government at ensuring adequate educational materials to improve the education of pupils, especially in deprived areas<\/p>\n
He pointed out that the educational materials were donated to World Vision Ghana by its partners, and urged the beneficiaries to take good care of them.<\/p>\n
Mr Philip Debabi, Saboba District Director of Education, who received the items, commended World Vision Ghana for supporting education in the district.<\/p>\n
Mr Debabi also commended World Vision Ghana for supporting radio programmes on education, and quiz competitions for the schools in the district.<\/p>\n
He disclosed that 73 primary schools and 27 junior high schools in the district would benefit from the educational materials.<\/p>\n
