The National Road Safety Commission of Ghana has announced a 17.5% decrease in the number of reported road accidents from January to November 2015 as compared to statistics from the same period in 2014.<\/p>\n
According to the Executive Director of the Commission, ING May Obiri-Yeboah, \u201cFrom January to November 2015, a total of 9,904 cases of road traffic crashes have been reported involving 15,505 vehicles.<\/p>\n
These crashes led to 1,938 cases of pedestrian knock downs, 1,474 deaths and 8,448 injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n
