{"id":177421,"date":"2015-12-27T11:19:30","date_gmt":"2015-12-27T11:19:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=177421"},"modified":"2015-12-27T11:44:50","modified_gmt":"2015-12-27T11:44:50","slug":"nathan-quao-wins-best-radio-reporterjournalist-award-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/12\/nathan-quao-wins-best-radio-reporterjournalist-award-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Nathan Quao wins Best Radio Reporter\/Journalist Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Citi Sports<\/strong> editor Nathan Quao has been adjudged the Best Radio Reporter\/Journalist at the 2nd Annual Ghana Sports Excellence Awards held at the Fiesta Royale Hotel in Accra on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quao was among four nominees for the award whose work in the 2015 calendar year was assessed by a jury.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He won the award ahead of Bright Kankam Boadu (Luv FM, Kumasi), Benedict Owusu (Joy FM, Accra), and Christian Chibueze (Kekeli FM, Ho).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/nathan-award-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-177423 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/nathan-award-2.jpg\" alt=\"nathan award (2)\" width=\"768\" height=\"562\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/nathan-award-2.jpg 768w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/nathan-award-2-300x220.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After receiving the award, he thanked the listeners of the station for their support and also expressed his gratitude to his colleagues and supervisors at <strong>Citi FM<\/strong> plus his family for their encouragement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quao joined the\u00a0<strong>Citi Sports desk<\/strong> in January 2013 as a reporter and became editor of the desk in January 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He is the regular host of station&#8217;s Barclays Premier League live coverage and he used to host &#8220;<strong>Half Time<\/strong>,&#8221; a sports discussion show which aired on Wednesday afternoons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He is part of the panel for &#8220;<strong>Sports Panorama<\/strong>,&#8221; the station&#8217;s sports magazine and discussion show which airs live on Friday evenings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/nathan-award-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-177422 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/nathan-award-1.jpg\" alt=\"nathan award (1)\" width=\"499\" height=\"887\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/nathan-award-1.jpg 432w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/nathan-award-1-169x300.jpg 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quao has also done some work on television with appearances on TV3, Viasat One, Metro TV and GH One where he hosted their weekly sports show, &#8220;The Game&#8221; between September 2014 and October 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2nd Annual Ghana Sports Excellence Awards was powered by Hallmark Plus Multimedia and supported by Divino Friends, organisers and founders of the the Africa-Italy Excellence Awards, Enya Events, Metro TV Sports, Arik Air, Graphic Sports, The Finder, Kessben FM Sports (Kessben) and Western Group, publishers of the Daily Guide newspaper.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Citi Sports editor Nathan Quao has been adjudged the Best Radio Reporter\/Journalist at the 2nd Annual Ghana Sports Excellence Awards held at the Fiesta Royale Hotel in Accra on Saturday.
