{"id":173223,"date":"2015-12-09T18:10:28","date_gmt":"2015-12-09T18:10:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=173223"},"modified":"2015-12-10T06:30:32","modified_gmt":"2015-12-10T06:30:32","slug":"irate-ndc-youth-vandalize-inusah-fuseinis-billboards-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/12\/irate-ndc-youth-vandalize-inusah-fuseinis-billboards-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"Irate NDC youth vandalize Inusah Fuseini\u2019s billboards [Photos]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some angry supporters of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Tamale Central constituency in the Northern Region on Wednesday burnt and vandalized bill boards, banners and other paraphernalia of the incumbent Member of Parliament, Inusah Fuseini.<\/p>\n<p>They accused the Roads and Highways Minister, of masterminding a purported dismissal of Engineer Ibrahim Seidu of the Department of Feeder Roads.<\/p>\n<p>Engineer Ibrahim Seidu, a former Deputy Director of the Road Fund Secretariat was reassigned to the Department of Feeder Roads.<\/p>\n<p>Engineer Seidu Ibrahim and three others contested Inusah Fuseini during the NDC Tamale Central Parliamentary primary.<\/p>\n<p>As a first timer, he emerged as the first runner up with Inusah Fuseini as the victor. Engineer Ibrahim Seidu\u2019s supporters and sympathizers after the primary vowed to vote skirt and blouse in 2016 despite Inusah Fuseini\u2019s reconciliatory moves.<\/p>\n<p>Engineer Ibrahim Seidu\u2019s former Campaign Coordinator, Basharu Alhassan Dabal-li in a Citi News interview condemned the rowdy behaviour of the youth and called for calm.<\/p>\n<p>He denied the group\u2019s claim that Engineer Seidu Ibrahim had been fired.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-173227 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-4-950x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Vandalize 4\" width=\"620\" height=\"668\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-4-950x1024.jpg 950w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-4-278x300.jpg 278w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-4.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The angry youth ignored his plea and went ahead with their demolishing spree on the Sakasaka stretch of the Tamale-Bolgatanga highway.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-173226 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-3.jpg\" alt=\"Vandalize 3\" width=\"600\" height=\"396\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-3.jpg 600w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-3-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Northern Regional Police Command\u2019s Public Relations Officer, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh on Eyewitness News confirmed the riot but said it was under control.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-173224 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-1.jpg\" alt=\"Vandalize 1\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Vandalize-1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to him, the police patrol team was dispatched to the Sakasaka community to maintain law and order.<\/p>\n<p>ASP Ebenezer Tetteh gave the assurance that the perpetrators will not go unpunished. He advised the youth of political parties to desist from flouting the laws of the land.<\/p>\n<p>He also warned that the police will deal with hooligans who intend fomenting trouble in the Tamale Metropolis.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Inusah Fuseini on Citi Eyewitness News downplayed Engineer Ibrahim\u2019s alleged dismissal and assured the angry youth that he was at post.<\/p>\n<p>He also denied knowledge of sanctioning a purported dismissal letter handed to Engineer Ibrahim.
