The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has declined to comment on issues relating to the suspension of the party\u2019s parliamentary candidate elect for the Ningo Prampram constituency, Sam Dzata George.<\/p>\n

[contextly_sidebar id=”sQSOzjUJzjTTm2rVKP6wyJlmoXyjvEQO”]Sam George was suspended<\/a><\/strong><\/span> together with the NDC Member of Parliament for the La Dade\u2013Kotopon Constituency, Nii Amassah Namoale for misconduct.<\/p>\n

Mr. Namoale has however apologized to the party for his action.<\/p>\n

Media reports on Monday said the suspension on the two have been lifted but\u00a0the NDC has been tight-lipped over the party’s position on the latest development.<\/p>\n

The NDC\u2019s Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho speaking to Citi News refused to comment.<\/p>\n

He said currently they are jubilant mode because the President has selected his running mate in the person of Kwesi Amissah-Arthur and would not make any further comment on the matter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m a political communicator and on the occasion of a day our president has endorsed a running mate, I know too well this is not the time to talk about these things,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

All other party executives Citi News<\/strong> reached to comment on the matter declined.<\/p>\n
