A private legal practitioner, Gary Nimako, has written a letter to the Electoral Commission to find out whether the name of Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, daughter of former president Jerry John Rawlings has been captured in Ghana\u2019s voters register.<\/p>\n
This follows rumuors that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate-elect in the Klottey Korle constituency could not vote in the party\u2019s primaries because her name was not found in their register.<\/p>\n

The lawyer is seeking to know the following:<\/p>\n
\u201c1. Whether or not Dr. Ezanator (Zanetor) Rawlings is a registered voter within the meaning of Article 94 (1)(a) of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201c2. If so when was her name entered into the electoral register?\u201d<\/p>\n
“3.Please furnish us with a certified true copy of the voter’s register.”<\/p>\n
