{"id":169810,"date":"2015-11-26T11:50:45","date_gmt":"2015-11-26T11:50:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=169810"},"modified":"2015-11-26T12:33:14","modified_gmt":"2015-11-26T12:33:14","slug":"guinness-donates-ghc70000-items-towards-farmers-day-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/11\/guinness-donates-ghc70000-items-towards-farmers-day-celebration\/","title":{"rendered":"Guinness donates GHc70,000 items towards Farmers Day celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL), producers of the awarding winning product, &#8220;Ruut extra&#8221; beer, has donated items worth GHc70,000 to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture ahead of this year&#8217;s Farmers Day celebration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The items include motorcycles, yammer mills, five tricycles, fishing nets and hooks, eight boxes of farming tool kits, 50 cartons of Ruut beer, branded polo shirts among others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking to journalists after the donation, the acting Corporate Relations Director of GGBL, Rita Adjeiwaa Rockson, said the donation formed part of the company\u2019s quest to support the work of farmers and fishermen in the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She added that the items were carefully purchased to facilitate and improve the work of farmers and fishermen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_20151125_150123.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-169826 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_20151125_150123.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20151125_150123\" width=\"533\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_20151125_150123.jpg 533w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_20151125_150123-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cFor the past years we have supported the Ministry of Food and Agriculture for the Farmers Day event. We chose items that farmers could use. Our motivation basically is to support the farmer.
