{"id":169693,"date":"2015-11-26T06:18:20","date_gmt":"2015-11-26T06:18:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=169693"},"modified":"2015-11-26T09:15:17","modified_gmt":"2015-11-26T09:15:17","slug":"npp-to-protest-over-raid-at-party-headquarters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2015\/11\/npp-to-protest-over-raid-at-party-headquarters\/","title":{"rendered":"NPP to protest over raid at party headquarters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), is asking its members to support the leadership of the party tomorrow [Friday] at its headquarters as it protests over a recent raid at the premises.<\/p>\n<p>A statement signed by the Deputy Director of Communications of the NPP, Perry Okudzeto, asked all party members and Ghanaians to wear any red or black attire to signify their displeasure over the development.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;1Q7Xs3hFEtxaOvtMkppM5Bt5PAdwRbfz&#8221;]&#8221;We call upon all Ghanaians who believe in, and want to protect our democracy, to express their outrage boldly by joining in marking #RedFriday by wearing red, or black with red armbands. An attack on the opposition is an attack on democracy. Show solidarity.
