As hundreds of migrants continue to be barred from crossing the Greece-Macedonia border, a handful of Iranians there sewed their lips together to protest the predicament.<\/p>\n
One of the men, a 34-year-old electrical engineer named Hamid, was asked by Reuters where he wanted to go. “To any free country in the world. I cannot go back. I will be hanged,” he said.<\/p>\n
The influx of migrants into Macedonia has heightened tensions in the country, the country’s president has said.<\/p>\n
