The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary aspirant in the Bibiano Ahwiaso Bekwai constituency who was accused of plagiarising the campaign poster of Kojo Oppong, the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for the Ofoasi Ayirebi in the Eastern Region has denied committing such an act.

[contextly_sidebar id=”8aujKlF4IIP7JVPEar5BvOKSMPYjLPXh”]The NDC’s Moses Karma reportedly copied the former Radio Show host’s campaign photo and message, which went viral on social media during the NPP’s primaries.

In what appears like a Photoshop of Mr. Oppong-Nkrumah’s photo, Moses Karma who is poised for the party’s primaries on Saturday November 21, appears in a similar white long sleeves shirt and a blue pair of trousers, and the same wrist watch, with the only difference being the NDC colour in the photo.

But in a statement, Karma said : “the origin of that post cannot be traced to my campaign outfit and should therefore be disregarded.”

“I therefore urge the general public to disregard the deceit of my detractors,” he added.

Below is the full statement

My attention has been drawn to pictures circulating on social media and hosted on peacefmonline.com with the caption, who stole whose images. In these pictures, purportedly put by my supporters, attempt is made to show brand copy on my part.

In as much as I thank all my supporters who believe in me and continuous look for creative ways to show this, I must state emphatically that I believe in my own unique identity.

It is this unique identity that gave me the urge to go uncontested in a much resourced district and the same identity will make me win the seat and restore hope to the people of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai District. The origin of that post cannot be traced to my campaign outfit and should therefore be disregarded.

I therefore urge the general public to disregard the deceit of my detractors.

Best regards,
