Minister of Finance, Seth Terkper will on behalf of the President, present the 2016 Budget Statement and Economic Policy to Parliament today 13th November, 2015.<\/p>\n

According to the Finance Ministry, the budget is expected to focus on accelerating and sustaining growth to maintain confidence in the Ghanaian economy.<\/p>\n

Seth Tekper in his presentation will also outline policies that are to bring down the country’s deficit while detailing government’s achievements for this year and it’\u2019s policy objectives and financial estimates for the medium term.<\/p>\n

He is also expected to hammer on moves government has and will put in place to permanently deal with the country’s power challenges which has badly affected the growth of the economy, led to dismissals of thousands of workers and the shutting down of many companies.<\/p>\n
